Access to millions of tracks of great music wherever you go, all at your fingertips and on any device. The latest NML app offers:

• Navigation in 9 languages (English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Simplified & Traditional Chinese)
• Simple-to-use Keyword Search to find albums quickly (simply enter artist name, composer name, work title, label name, catalogue number, or a combination of these)
• Sophisticated Advanced Search with 9 search criteria (Composer, Artist, Performing Group, Category, Featured Instrument, Period, Label, Country, Month & Year / Year of release). Use them singly, or combine them to get more specific results
• Read biographies of composers and artists with links to all their recordings on NML
• Thousands of album booklets with music notes, biographies of composers and artists for viewing in both portrait and landscape modes
• Thousands of inlay cards (the back of an album) with track list and informative details on the recording for viewing in both portrait and landscape modes
• Access all your favourite albums / tracks easily. They are kept in one place, bookmarked under Favourites
• Enjoyed a piece which you had listened to in the last 30 days but didn’t get round to mark it under Favourites? It can easily be found under Recently Played section
• Trending now – find out what others are listening to under Popular Albums
• Our Player offers gapless playback (particularly useful for listening to operas), 10-second forward / reverse, loop 1 track, loop entire album or playlist, shuffle, next track, previous track, play and pause functions.
• A Record Labels list for browsing the catalogue of a specific label
• Explore what’s new - newly added albums are listed under the New tab
• Particularly interested in a specific category of music, like Operas, Concertos or Sacred Choral? They are categorically listed in the Browse tab
• Build and access your own playlists
• Want to listen to your music even without internet connection? Download them for offline streaming – albums, works, tracks and playlists

1. Download the app from your respective store – App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android devices.
2. If you have your own Student Account, your email address and password will act as your login credentials for the NML / NML Jazz / NML World mobile app. Simply log in.
3. If you do not have your own Student Account yet, sign up on the institution Playlist Page if your institution give such permission.*
4. After completing the Sign Up Form, you will receive an email. Complete the registration process by clicking the activation link in that email.
5. The email address and password you register with will act as your login credentials for the NML / NML Jazz or NML World mobile app. Now you can create and save personal playlists, and enjoy the service everywhere through the mobile app. Please note that under certain rare circumstances, it can take up to 15 minutes for your Student Account registration to be completed. Once your own account has been created successfully, you can also log in to the web version of the service directly on the general Login Page.
6. We need to validate that you are still an authorised user of your institution biannually. Your access with mobile app will be temporarily deactivated if you haven't logged into the web version of the service via your institution's authentication system for six months. Please do so on the Playlist Page (at the top right corner) to reactivate your student account.

* If you do not see the option to Sign Up or Log In to Student / Member Account on the Playlist Page, please check with your librarians. If they want to make this feature available to their authorised users, they can log in as Administrator and enable it.
